KHATISA

by Alberto D. K. Marconcini

The work is the result of Alberto’s personal reflection on the great Godmother of Vinci who was Chatarina. She who gave birth to the great Maestro Leonardo Da Vinci.

The famous “Nodi Vinciani” the same knots present in many paintings by Leonardo, among which the most famous is the “Monnalisa”. Knots that he saw as a child drawing from his mother through the tattoos of “Hennè” being Chatarina a servant, of alleged Middle Eastern origins, serving in the Da Vinci family.

In Monnalisa Leonardo simply portrays his mother Chatarina. A painting that has never been delivered to his client, but which, on the contrary, Leonardo brings with him for life until death, as we could do today with the photo albums of our loved ones.

CHATARINA IS LA MONNALISA, MONNALISA IS THE MOTHER OF LEONARDO DA VINCI.

You can admire this work “Khatisa” by Alberto D.K. Marconcini inside the “Leonardo Do Me”, the artistic installation located at the gates of Vinci (FI), conceived and created by “MUD” a pool of artists, engineers, architects, professionals from Vinci, the country of the great Maestro.
