Topographic canvas of the main places lived by Leonardo Da Vinci
The base of the map it’s a light abstract old, with up the principal places marked from the Leonardo’s life these in my personal interpretation in the old language and in local dialect, to emphasize the theme. In first posytion the transparent wing, which it assumes a geographic subject of meridians and parallels. Realized canvas not so much as a map of locations lived by Leonardo, but like a “flight of thought”. Leonardo in all these places, he dreamed, ideaed, he was always beyond the imagination. Here, with this my canvas, I would like to convey the vital flight of Leonardo, which is halfway between material life and spiritual life. I have put the great dream of his life, the flight (the wing) as if Leonardo had spiritually flew for all of his life, descending only among the people in the marked places, and after resuming and continuing his flight.
Tempera on ancient canvas, as my usual technique, between land and wine from Vinci, 150x95cm
